America Architecture Award
Museum of Arch, Chicago, October 2014
The TriBeCa Penthouse in New York City, winner of the 2014 American Architecture Award, is conceived as an urban oasis with expansive outdoor spaces exceeding the interior. The design features landscaped terraces, a hot tub, and a roof garden transformed into a lush retreat. A sculptural spiral staircase enclosed in a perforated stainless-steel cocoon connects the spaces, while industrial materials reference the neighborhood’s heritage, integrating functional volumes within an elegant, contemporary design.
