Three Arches of Gargano

City Hall, San Giovanni Rotondo, Puglia

The official presentation of Three Arches of Gargano took place at the City Hall of San Giovanni Rotondo, Puglia, with the participation of the three mayors of the cities involved, institutional representatives, and members of the local community. Presented by Antonio Pio Saracino, the project is conceived as a territorial initiative that places three cities into dialogue through three symbolic monuments, reinterpreting the historic foundations of religious tourism as a contemporary cultural narrative. Rooted in ancient spiritual and civic memory while projecting a vision for the future, the project connects San Marco in Lamis, San Giovanni Rotondo, and Monte Sant’Angelo through a shared landmark strategy. At the conference, Saracino illustrated the vision for the three monuments, one of which has already been completed, while the remaining two are currently under proposal.
