Observation Tower by Antonio Pio Saracino, located near Carcassonne, France. Crafted from polished and painted steel, the 25’ x 10’ x 20’ tower features interwoven stainless steel tubes anchored to a free-floating red steel staircase. Beginning at an extended entrance “diving board” and culminating in an open-air bench, it offers elevated panoramic views. A maquette is held in the Centre Pompidou’s permanent collection.
