Black Hole

EXPO Milan - University degli Studi di Milano, Italy

Antonio Pio Saracino
Dimensions: 8 m x 5 m x 5 m

Black Hole Pavilion is an installation designed by Antonio Pio Saracino and Steve Blatz for the Università degli Studi di Milano in 2015. Commissioned by Interni Magazine for the exhibition Energy for Creativity during EXPO Milan and Milan Design Week, the pavilion was crafted in wood, glass, and stainless steel and measures 8 × 5 × 5 meters. Conceived as an exploration of the void, the project celebrates the transformative and generative power of imagination as a source of creative energy. Following the exhibition, the pavilion was permanently installed at Villa Morosini in Vicenza.
