The Guardians: Hero and Superhero – Permanent public sculptures at Three Bryant Park, New York City, completed in 2013. Hero, crafted from Danby marble and steel, was gifted by the Italian Government and Eni, while Superhero complements it in stainless steel. Hero’s stacked marble planes evoke the surrounding skyscrapers and the movement of figures within the urban environment. Both works, commissioned via a public art competition, remain on view indefinitely, celebrating resilience, innovation, and cultural exchange.
