The ‘Life’ monument at New York-Presbyterian Hospital features two steel-ring sculptures, 18 and 9 feet tall, assembled with shifting axes to create dynamic forms. Though visually precarious, the structures maintain internal stability, symbolizing life’s duality: fragile yet resilient, balancing inner and outer forces throughout existence.
