Indonesian Contemporary Art and Design (ICAD) 8, organized by Yayasan Design + Art Indonesia, was held at Grand Kemang Jakarta from October 4 to November 15, 2017. Titled MURNI?, the exhibition explored the concept of “purity” and essentialism through a critical lens. Featuring over 50 artists and designers, ICAD 2017 presented public installations, exhibitions, and conventions on art, design, architecture, and film, with international speakers including Antonio Pio Saracino.
