Future Forniture Award

Adjustable Screen, New York City, May 2005

Awarded the Future Furniture Award by Interior Design Magazine, the Adjustable Screen is a flexible architectural system designed to filter light, divide interior spaces, or serve as an illuminated backdrop. Vertical rows of translucent fiberglass panels are connected by high-torque friction hinges, allowing manual adjustment into accordion-like forms. Its kinetic, sculptural configuration creates dynamic zigzag geometries and redefines spatial boundaries and indoor–outdoor permeability.
