Futurist Monument

Antonio Pio Saracino
Dimensions:
18 m X 8m x 5m

Monument to Filippo Tommaso Marinetti is a public art proposal by Antonio Pio Saracino conceived as both vessel and bridge—an architectural gesture directed toward the future. Developed for philosopher Leonardo Alaeddin Clerici, heir to the Marinetti family, the project translates the spirit of Futurism into a dynamic stainless steel form defined by movement, light, and participation. Visitors walk through the ribs of the monument and activate pedals along its spine, generating electrical current that causes the sculpture to illuminate through human presence. The project was commissioned by the Skriptura Institute in Brussels, with Mr. Clerici and the Marinetti family.
