Set within the open landscape of the Hudson Valley, this contemporary country residence reinterprets the region’s barn vernacular through interconnected gabled volumes, natural timber, stone, and expansive glass. A symmetrical composition and formal entrance introduce a subtle reference to the proportions of an Italian Palladian villa. Inside, soaring spaces, pale oak, fluted wood, softly veined stone, and warm metal details create a serene retreat where Italian sensibility meets the character of the Hudson Valley.
