Following his solo exhibition Nature and Design at Industry Gallery, Pacific Design Center, Los Angeles, Antonio Pio Saracino was commissioned by the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles to create an installation. The Globe is a seven-foot spherical structure composed of red wooden posts, generated through an algorithm. It visualizes global cities and their digital, non-physical connections, proposing a new model of the world shaped by virtual networks rather than geography.
