On the 50th anniversary of the European Union, Antonio Pio Saracino won the Europalia Art Festival 2007/2008 competition in Brussels. Selected to represent Italy, he exhibited work in Agorafolly Inside at the European Centre for Contemporary Art and Agorafolly Outside in a public square near Central Station. The festival, attended by EU leaders and royalty, celebrated cultural diversity among all 27 Member States.
