Antonio Pio Saracino received the King Manfredi Award for Architectural Excellence and was commissioned to design King Manfredi Square in Manfredonia, Italy. Inspired by the eagle in the Manfredi family crest, the plaza features elevated ramps forming an open-air theater with seating, reflective pools, and views toward the historic thirteenth-century castle, using titanium panels and local marble.
