City Within – Dubai Mall, Design Days Dubai (2012) – Antonio Pio Saracino’s temporary installation, commissioned by Design Days Dubai and Bloomingdales, uses translucent polycarbonate sheets and steel to form a 40’ × 20’ × 10’ sculptural box. Carved into a multi-dimensional cityscape, it contrasts the ephemeral with the physical city, offering visitors a contemplative space to engage with the metaphor of the contemporary digital city.
